MACH & MACH Look Book for Tbilisi fashion week F/W 2013-14

MACH & MACH is a new brand of talented young Georgian Designers, Gvantsa Mach and Nina Mach, They have created new Fall-Winter 2013-2014 collection for Tbilisi fashion Week. It is very trendy, funny, glamorous and sexy collection for   XXI century women.

AMBIVALENT  SERPENT                                                                     

  MACH & MACH about their inspiration and cenception:

  "Source  of  the  Collection  inspiration  is  ambivalent  serpent  as  bearer  of conflict  properties  creature.

   It  is  an  animal  which  tempted  and  banished  from  paradise  the  first human  being  in  accordance  with  Christianity. Snake  represents simultaneously  Satan  and  God  in  various  religious  and  mythologies. Its poison  kills  people  and  cures  from  deadly  diseases; it  is  very  beautiful, attractive  and  at  the  same  time  it  is  disgusting  and  dangerous, its  skin  is widely  used  in  industrial  design  and  at  the  same  time  in  magic  forces  to destroy  people.

   In  Christian  religion  after  Adam  and  Eva  rejected  God’s  word  and believed  snake,  during  humanity  development,  people  more  and  more  is trying  to  look  similar  like  snake,  not  God, and  introducing  itself  to  its feature  and  nature.

   During  humanity  existence  has  passed  middle  centuries  and  religious culture, it  was  followed  by  the  Renaissance  and  anthropomorphic  period, mankind  idealization; but  now  we  are  in  transition  epoch, in  the beginning  of  new  period, XXI  century  became  super  ambivalent,  eclectic.

   Human  being  maximally  assimilated  snake’s  two  nature  and  destroyed boundary  between  men  and  women, goodness  and  evil, love  and  disgust, ugly  and  beauty, intellectualism  and  foolishness.

   Our  collection  is  very  echo  of  eclectic  XXI  century. There  we  made  sport and  elegancy  styles  synthesis.      

   There  we  used mainly  leatherette  and  some  solid  fabrics  in  the  collection  for  dresses; also  their surface  are  treated  with  various  constructions  created  by  crystal jewels ,we used transparent  plastic  and  glossy materials  for  coats  and  face  accessories.

    This  collection  is  for  XXI century  woman  who  is  very  clever, independent, sexual  and  strong  and  in  addition  of  all  she  is  bearer  of  ambivalent  snake  nature."
